1. Chartered Accountant (CA):

It is the most reputed career option in commerce stream. After passing 12th from a recognized board one can enroll himself in this course at ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India). Only ICAI is authorized to give CA degree in India. The exams are conducted in every major city of India. It is a 5 years duration course and has 3 LEVELS, CPT, PCC, and a final exam. Before appearing in the final exam, one has to undergo 3 years training under a CA in practice or a corporate body.

2. Company Secretary (CS):

It is also a very reputed post for the students with commerce stream. It is a 3 years course which includes Foundation, Executive and Professional or final exam. It is conducted by ICSI (Institute of Company Secretary of India). Exams are held twice a year in the month of June and December in all the major cities. After passing the final exam students have to undergo 15 months of training in the guidance of Company Secretary in practice or in the company’s sponsored by the institute. ICSI membership plays important role in getting jobs in the public sector and the private sector.

3. Cost and Management Accountant (CMA):

They help the business owners in predicting their expenses and the possible ways through which they can reduce the expenses. In India, CMA course is conducted by ICAI (Institute of Cost Accountant of India). It is a 5 years duration course which gets completed in 3stages. After passing 1st and 2nd part of CMA exam, students have to undergo a compulsory training of three years under a cost accountant firm or a corporate organization, which they can do before or after final exams. After completing this training students will get a membership of ICAI.

4. Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA):

B.Com and BBA are undergraduate degree courses. These are 3 years duration courses after completing 12th. In India, many reputed universities like BHU, AMU, and IGNOU provide these courses. Other than this many governments and private colleges attached to the universities provide these courses. Students get better job opportunities after getting a degree from such reputed universities.

5. Masters in Commerce (M.Com):

It is a postgraduate course of 2 years and students can pursue it after completing their B.Com Degree. These courses are available mostly in all the Universities and colleges which provide B.Com.

6. Masters in Business Administration (MBA):

It is a postgraduate, professional and terminal degree of 2 years duration and helps a student to understand more about accountancy, statics, business communication, business ethics, business law, finance, management, and marketing. One can pursue this degree after,, and BBA.

7. Banking:

IBPC conducts a common written exam (CWE) through which it selects the upcoming bankers. So if someone wants to get a job in the banking sector, he has to clear CWE. 9. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA):
